In it’s brief, AIGA has defined a need. Â The global water crisis is imminent; people need to form an understanding of water, and how it relates to our lives and livelihood. Before we can begin to establish further directions for research, we need to gain an understanding of the symptoms of the problem, and the underlying causes as relates to the Denver Basin.Â
In groups of two, students will complete a minimum 50 article literature review on the course wiki on thier assigned topic, and interview an expert on the problem.  Interviews should ideally be conducted in-person.  Each student dyad will focus on a different aspect of the problem — geology, hydrology, economics, agricultural, social… The findings will be shared with the entire class in short presentations, in order that the entire class gain a rich understanding of the context of the problem.
Each team will create a 10 minute, minimum 15 slide presentation that explains their preliminary findings and explains their problem statement.
If you have questions, please read the Literature Review article on the course wiki.
